Ok. So I'm working in the best job I've ever had - I love it. I am literally in love with my job. I'm working as an intern (only downside) at an Animaton/Games Development company right in the middle of Brighton. It's bright, the people are wonderful, and all day I get to do exactly what I've been trained for - writing, video editing plus a whole load more production assistant-y stuff I really enjoy on top. There are only 12 members of staff and I am one out of four women. The work we do is mainly focussed on children's content so I spend a lot of my time looking at and playing with games for children. Colourful! The bosses have just extended my internship so I should be able to relax a little for the next couple of months - yay!

Out of work. I have decided to take up the Ukulele. It's brilliant. I'm not terribly
talented but it brings me joy and that is what counts, right? Plus it's really just an excuse for me to be able to sing along to something without looking like a complete twat singing alone with no accompaniment, or begging someone to 'play something I know!'Talking of which, since my Uke purchase, I've started something of a trend and I believe more Ukes are in the process of being bought, the lovely little things they are. 4 strings, a lighthearted sound and no worries! Video of self playing coming soon..ish.
Did I mention I'm getting married? 17 months at the end of January. Arghh! It's so exciting. I put the first deposit down on my dress just after Christmas. I won't blab on about it - it's not going to become a wedding blog. The actual day is so far away I can't really think too seriously about it, and my fiance and I have been living together for 4 years out of 6 now anyway so .. we get to talk it out between ourselves without having to clog up the net with all our ideas. Maybe nearer the time.
